Religion - How I learned that there are other religions

Hello everyone!

Today, I´m going to talk about religion, I know this is a sensitive topic for some, but please remember that we are all different and that is what makes us unique.

Since I was born, my parents never spoke religion to me, I didn't go to church either, all I knew was from what others told me.

The first time I knew that there are more religions (besides Catholic), was when I saw the movie "Prince of Egypt", I love that movie and watched it many times, but for me, the religion of ancient Egypt was more like mythology, I didn´t understand why there was a rivalry between gods if supposedly there was only one god, over time I realized that this was their religion and that there was more than one. 

*I know it may sound ignorant, but really at that time, I did not know that there were more religions      (I was very young).

After that, I understood that there were many religions, which was and still interesting to me since they are the maximum expression of beliefs of many people over time. I perfectly remember a "module" class, where the teacher explained the main religions of the world, I loved reading their similarities and how most believe in one or several powerful entities that took care of us, how they give an explanation to life and death, It is simply impressive how despite the cultural, geographical and historical differences, they all tried to make sense of their lives.
