Tsubasa reservoir of chronicles - Free Topic

Hello everyone, in this blog, I´m going to comment on one of my favorite animes. (I have many, but I decided on this one), it's called Tsubasa reservoir of chronicles, it's a story created by CLAMP, which are 4 famous female manga artists. As a context, the first anime I saw was sakura card captor and from that moment I didn't stop, I became an otaku and I watched many animes, after a while, I found out that the creators of sakura created a series with the characters of the manga they made and I decided to watch it, at that time it was on YouTube LMAO.  In this story, the protagonists are characters from the manga created by CLAMP and they travel between different worlds and alternate universes to search for Sakura's feathers (each one has her memories), it´s very nice to see all the references to the anime created by them. The truth is that I have seen the anime many times, but they stayed in the middle of the story and never finished the manga story, during the holi...

Education

What am I going to do in the future? (h e l p) Hello everyone, today I will tell you about my future plans regarding education. For me this is a very important topic, I know how it can affect the decisions I make today in the future and how these can help me a lot in my future job. As you know, I study geography, but depending on what subject I speciali ze in will depend on my future job (For example, if I specialize in human geography, I can work with anthropologists, but in physical geography, the area depends on the area of specialization (such as the atmosphere, lithosphere, ocean, tectonic plates, etc.) ) , at t his moment my favorite course is marine geography, I just love it, but I don't know if having that specialization can I have a good job, that pays well and that does not go against my values.   For now, the only thing I am 100% sure of is that I will need to do a master's degree because there is a lot of competition in the labor market. If everything goes...

Religion - How I learned that there are other religions

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today, I´m going to talk about religion, I know this is a sensitive topic for some, but please remember that we are all different and that is what makes us unique. Since I was born, my parents never spoke religion to me, I didn't go to church either, all I knew was from what others told me. The first time I knew that there are more religions (besides Catholic), was when I saw the movie "Prince of Egypt", I love that movie and watched it many times, but for me, the religion of ancient Egypt was more like mythology, I didn´t understand why there was a rivalry between gods if supposedly there was only one god, over time I realized that this was their religion and that there was more than one.  *I know it may sound ignorant, but really at that time, I did not know that there were more religions       (I was very young). After that, I understood that there were many religions, which was and still interesting to me since they are th...

Healthcare system

Imagen
Hello and welcome to my new blog! Today I will talk to you about the Chilean health system, which is divided into the public and private health systems, as already mentioned in other blogs, there is a clear difference between these systems, It has also been commented many times that our health system is one of the best in Latam( If we consider only the private health system 😕). During the constituent process, there was talk of joining these two systems, which would be very beneficial for all people, before the new constitution was rejected, I already knew that it was very unlikely, since it is in "private hands" (and it´s very lucrative for them) and also helps to take administrative and economic burden off the state. in conclusion and trying not to be pessimistic I think the state should focus on the public system to improve the  structure  and quality for citizens who cannot afford a good health system. https://www.france24.com/es/minuto-a-minuto/20220831-comprar-...

Is voting an important responsibility of a citizen?

Imagen
Voting is a historical process, in which a small group of men had the privilege to take important decisions. Around the world, after many years and fights by the marginalized population, they weren't fighting just for the right to vote, but to have the same rights and opportunities as others. Historically we have the case of the suffragettes or the movement of the Afro-descendant population. An interesting fact is that the first country to approve the female vote was New Zealand in 1893 and the last country to allow the female vote was Saudi Arabia in 2015, there is a difference of more than 100 years. What I mean, is that obviously, the vote is part of a democratic system in which the population can elect their representatives, but we must not forget the sacrifices and lives of the people who helped us get to where we are today. To reflect, I would like to tell you about the Afghan case, women were able to vote earlier than in the United States and were able to participate in the ...

Topic A: A Career-oriented Website You Enjoy Visiting

ArcGIS Pro is a computer software that I use to make maps, this application uses the Geographic Information System (GIS),  , which collects, manages and analyzes data, the information it provides is very complete, since it integrates many types of data, according to its website: "Analyzes spatial location and arranges layers of information in visualizations, using maps and 3D scenes. With this unique capability, GIS reveals deeper insights into data, such as patterns, relationships, and situations, helping users make smarter decisions". Having so many components and tools, I use the website:  https://www.esri.cl/es-cl/inicio ,  in which we can obtain the necessary information to solve queries or the necessary indications to make a map in the ArcGIS software,  I recommend it to all those who start as geographers or if they need to make a map,  for my part I don't use it as often anymore, but in my first year I used it a lot  since it was easy to find the inf...

How can my major make the world a better place?

Imagen
As I mentioned earlier, I study geography. My career has different areas of study, the main ones are physical geography and human geography, in the physical area, are studied the behavior of the lithosphere and the movements that occur within the earth. A specific area of this is the behavior of water bodies. This is very interesting for me and I would like to specialize in hydrology or glaciology, in my opinion, it´s very important to study the behaviors of water, its human use, and how they can be affected by its indiscriminate use. Maybe I can't change the world, but I can work with communities that are affected by drought, to create maps of glaciers to see their decline or create projects for water protection.
